Welcome to Day 8 of our 2023 Herbal Advent.

Fun fact, this was almost a tea club blend this year - I love to highlight new, unique flavors when I can in both tea club and advent. Tea club blends are chosen the year before (due to the size and lead time required to plan), and advent teas are chosen about 8 months before. In this case just some timing wasn't going to work out with the figs, so here we are enjoying them for the holidays. The figs have that sweet richness to them that is perfectly balanced by the refreshing kiss of lemon.

It goes without saying that I'd love drinking this tea with a cheese board or some kind of charcuterie. In fact, tea and cheese pairings can be a fun holiday activity.
